The Meadows School

"The Mustangs view 2024-25 as the end of a run (at least in middle school) for one of the strongest cores in program history. Last year's playoff run at MSNCT was the first in program history, and Meadows is motivated to find more of that magic one last time. While 8th graders Elliot Lefebvre, Sophia Gallardo, and Winston Luh have won state titles along with 7th grader William Russman, the real depth of this program has also been maintained for the last 2 years by several other 8th graders. This season marks the last one in middle school for players like Georgia Lowry, Chase Park, Cadence Luh, Jackson Sandoval, and Luca Thompson as well--all of whom played at MSNCT last year. The Mustangs are also excited to see the return of some 7th graders who caught fire early last year--Sahil Wadhwa, Clara Tsang, Sabrina Khan, and Kayleb Hague. While the goal for this program is another playoff run at MSNCT, much of this season will also be spent with an eye on the future. By the end of 2024-25, there will be some large shoes to fill for next season and beyond. Nurturing the growth of the 20 6th graders who are new to the program will be critical." |
