"The Mustangs come into 2024-25 on the search for who will spearhead the next generation of the program. Having lost Ben Vinocur, Cole Verdirame, and Rocco Santo Pietro to graduation, the Mustangs are going to spend most of this season looking for who will make up that next dependable nucleus.

In the early going, Meadows will rely on the leadership of Sam Vinocur to shepherd a strong crew of 9th and 10th graders. Both Shawn Frost and Gigi Gonya return this year with some valuable experience at last season's Small School Nationals. The Mustangs also now gain the services of Liam Davenport and Zareena Khan, who just capped off excellent runs at Middle School Nationals last season.

One other squad of interest this year is our C team, which is a group of middle school students who have played together for a few years but haven't competed much against older teams. Playing them in the HS Division is being treated largely as an experiment but also as a way to get them some good preparation for what we hope is an MSNCT appearance in May."
