Get to know Red Rock's first-ever senior Quiz Bowl class! |
Red Rock High School
Submitted by Head Coach Matt Albert:
After a third straight appearance at an NAQT NCT last year, the Dragons look to make it 4 appearances in 4 years since opening in 2016. This season, the Dragons are attempting to split some of their top players during the regular season in order to provide more leadership opportunities. The senior class is hoping to leave their final mark on the program by setting up the next generations of Dragon Quiz Bowl for extended success. "This season is a special one regardless of record because it's the first time we will have a senior class. The amount of work they've put in to start our program from nothing has been extraordinary. This year is all about honoring their commitment and celebrating their growth over the last four years. They're going to leave our talented juniors in a great place to take the reins in 2020. I'm also especially excited to see how our burgeoning sophomore class will handle their first taste of competition this year with 8 students in total, 6 of which are rookies. The momentum surrounding the program is as strong as it's ever been." |
